Tiger Woods and John Daly epitomized sheer power in the 90’s and 2000’s. In today’s game, there are many long hitters, as technology in golf balls, driver head materials and physical conditioning has maxed out. Dustin Johnson makes it fairly routine to drive par 4’s and hit middle irons into 580 yard par 5’s, while also winning a staggering amount of tournaments at a young age.
