What happens if that does get passed, birth control is now illegal again, and someone from Europe or Asia or Africa comes to visit for a month? And they are on birth control? They can’t stop taking it for a month, it would mess up their endocrine system, especially if they hop right back on it after coming home. Would they be fined/arrested, depending on the severity of the crime? Wait until they control what pregnant women eat or drink, oh had some sushi you’re putting the fetus at risk, here’s a fine, drank some coffee yep we are watching you. I completely disagree with them, but this has always been the stance of the Religious right, which is the driving force behind this whole attack.
Google the (short) list of countries in the world where contraception is illegal. Fits right in with where the US seems to be heading. Didn’t they mention that millennials aren’t having enough babies to maintain future society or something like that……no abortion/birth control is a great way to ensure we’re populated to adequate levels.
