I really don’t actually draw. I have no real visual artistic talent to speak of in real life. Most of my “drawings” are on the Draw Something app, and I mostly just draw pictures of my boyfriend in weird situations. Just to let him know I’m thinking of him. I don’t think he actually has a purple coat, since he’s not actually Willy Wonka. (Sometimes I do sit around and wonder why I’m not dating Willy Wonka, though.) Also, he clearly forgot to put his nose on that day. I love to do paintings, sketches and all. And i do only one art work in a day because only one painting or sketch took minimum 9 to 10 hours. And after that i get exhausted. I do paintings only once in a week. I would say that their abilities and appreciation for those abilities just surface under different circumstances. INFJs are leaders of social change, driving society forward with insightful and inspiring ideas of the future, leading with their hearts. Think Martin Luther King Jr. or Gandhi. They understand how to change the world with ideas and action that everyone can take. Even those that cause trouble (ie. Hitler, Osama Bin Laden who were INFJs) understand how to start a revolution and make the world a better place for them using spirit.
Creativity isn’t some elusive, elite wavelength that only certain people can tap into in order to create new and original or innovative works of wonder. Creativity is just a dazzling word for “problem solving”. Drawing or painting anything, whether it is referential or objective or illusionistic or not, involves visual problem solving. All artists start with the basic problem of making the first mark (a pencil or brush stroke, for example) on a surface: Drawing or painting is simply a sequence of problems of this type. Solving these problems in a way that befits the artist’s intention is what we refer to as creativity. Departing from observation, departing from hard realism, is simply one of many formal choices an artist might make, and has nothing qualitatively to do with creativity or visual problem-solving. Here’s a secret. The MBTI essentially tries to apply static, unchanging and uncompromising labels onto creatures who are essentially not static and constantly changing. It’s not meant to be worn as a label. It’s meant to see how to respond to questions at a single point in your life. The same way a midterm test measures your skill at a single point in time and a final measures your skill at a later point. The MBTI is just a test result, not an identity. Once you realize you could be both, the whole thing falls apart. Depending on situational context, a person could be anywhere between ESTP or INFJ. How you score most consistently however could be used as a very loose indicator of what you might like to, say, do with your life or the company of people you might like to keep. But ultimately, it’s meaningless. So to answer your question… yes. A person can be both INFJ and INTJ. And they can be ESTP and ISTJ and any other combination. People are more complex than 16 basic identities.
I know that every MBTI type has issues and probably much worse than mine, but I still have moments in life in which I’d just wish to not be an INFJ. I am complicated. I really am. Some people appreciate it, but all the others don’t. It would be easier for me to not be. It’s not that we value work over fun. We have a high work ethic and we’re people pleasers. We want to do well at work so later we can relax with clear conscience and the thought we’ve done well at work. It’s important for us to succeed, not only for our employer and colleagues to be satisfied, but for our own satisfaction as well. Maybe it also depends by the definition of “fun”. We aren’t party animals. Our definition of fun is reading a good book, going for a walk or hike, being in nature, listening to pleasant music, being at home in a cozy blanket and a cup of tea while watching a film or wandering across our infinite thoughts.
