Of course, in the past like 5 years, because more people HAVE been wearing them as pants, they started coming out looking more and more like pants, which I think okay…BUT it depends. My main argument against wearing leggings as pants is mostly practicality. Most leggings are thin and you can pretty much see everything. Don’t want a pantyline? Okay so you wear a thong or go comando… but then we’re just seeing your g string line or your cameltoe and buttcrack and it’s just not cool. On top of that, they just seem too thin to wear as pants. They are so tight and formfitting, they LOOK more like tights or stockings than pants (even ones designed to look like pants). Of course, for some women they WANT these things (to be sexy and whatnot) and I mean, if that’s your thing, then do ya thing, but I personally don’t like the trend or think it’s attractive in anyway. I know some people just throw on some leggings to go to the store or something and there’s certainly nothing wrong with that.. I just mean like.. putting on leggings and a shirt and saying it’s a style or a pulled together outfit. It just feels lacking and bare to me. Like.. I think they work as knock-around ‘pants’ or “just going to the store” fashion, but I refuse to see leggings by themselves as a haute couture level of style or aesthetic.

Normally I don’t care about make up or how people wear it… but I will say that of all make up trends, having your lipstick/liner/stain/color wildly going over your lip line looks a little… messy, to say the least. I think it’s also cringy when someone has gotten lip injections to the point where it looks grotesque and extreme. Obviously, done right, it’s barely noticeable, if at all, but some times it gives the lips this obvious bowed out shape (especially the top lip, Kylie is a great example) and this weird gap in the middle where the lips part, and it just looks really unnatural. For and to me, leggins are a slightly thicker version of tights. I wear them under skirts/tutus, dresses, with shorts, or sweater dresses. I don’t like the idea of just wearing leggings by themselves. Never have.
