You’ve probably seen them on Instagram personalities and soft aesthetic accounts. The fabric is practically SEE-THROUGH. The cut is godawful. The sleeves are HIDEOUS. They’re not flattering at all and come off as awkward looking. They’re near impossible to coordinate with. I don’t know why any self-respecting individual would willingly wear one of them other than to bandwagon on a trend. A lot of people claim that by wearing one of these, they’re “dressing for themselves” and “liberated from the male gaze”. They must be brainwashed or hate themselves enough to wear this horseshit. They’re a good idea for say, an expecting person’s photoshoot in which they show off their baby bump. that’s about it. Even the pretty women modeling them can’t save how awful they look.
